Building Stronger Connections for Women in Robotics
We’re excited to share a proposed collaboration between the Women in Robotics group at the University of Cambridge and women Research Technical Professionals within UK RAS STEPS. Our goal is to support and inspire women in the field of robotics through meaningful connection and shared experiences.
To kick things off, we’d like to invite you to a one-hour online call at 2pm on February 26th where we can:
✅ Discuss what a joint workshop and networking event might look like
✅ Explore what would be most beneficial for participants
✅ Create an opportunity to meet, share expertise, and talk about barriers or positive practices within your roles and institutions
We also warmly welcome men who have ideas on how to best support the underrepresentation of women in robotics – your input is invaluable!
There is no obligation beyond this initial call, but we hope this will spark the creation of a strong, supportive group as part of the UK RAS STEPS programme.

Let’s work together to make robotics a more inclusive and inspiring field for everyone!
