Global Knowledge Exchange Funding
The RTP Global Knowledge Exchange Funding Pot is designed exclusively for Research Technical Professionals (RTPs) in the RAS community.
This funding will support international travel, accommodation, and subsistence for RTPs wishing to visit labs, universities, or research institutions around the world. The goal is to enable knowledge exchange, skills development, and collaboration with international peers.
✅ Who Can Apply?
- RAS Research Technical Professionals with no access to other sources of international travel funding.
- Applicants must not be part of groups or projects that already have established funding for international collaboration or mobility.

- Travel costs (e.g. flights, trains)
- Accommodation
- Daily subsistence (meals, local transport, etc. Please check the subsistence allowance against the following policy.)
🤝 What’s the Purpose?
This funding is ideal for RTPs who:
- Have existing contacts in international institutions and want to arrange a visit.
- Are seeking to learn new techniques, observe different lab practices, or explore potential collaborations.
